about our pastor
Dr. Avery B. Goss, a native of Lithonia, Georgia, was ordained under the guidance and counsel of Bishop Nelson K. Williams, Unity Christian Fellowship International (Woodbridge, VA) in September 2004.
As a retired veteran of the United States Army, Pastor Goss has traveled the world and worked on the ministerial staff of many of the respective chapels while deployed in Iraq and Kuwait. In every location, he sought to reach lost souls while empowering them through the Word of God. He believes that the body of Christ should be set free in every area of their life. His preaching and teaching focuses on encouraging believers spiritually and making disciples for Christ.
Pastor Goss graduated from Fort Valley State University in Mass Communications and Broadcast Journalism. He also has a Master’s degree in Procurement and Acquisition Management from Webster University and holds a Doctorate in Biblical Studies from Minnesota Graduate School of Theology.
As a concerned member of the community, Pastor Goss volunteers with the government of Lithonia, Georgia planning events for veterans and mentoring young people. Pastor Goss walks in a powerful anointing to reach the unreachable, the broken, the wounded, and the rejected. He is committed to demonstrating unconditional love to all that God sends his way.
Pastor Goss is married to Lady Kellie (Kindred) Goss of Columbus, GA. They are proud parents to Camren, Jah, Averi and Arrington.
